Wade Glen Thompson Ticket Scammer 2013 Comments Thread

It has been over two years since I posted to this blog, because there has been little news to report that cannot be gleaned from reading the numerous comments on the 'Wade Thompson aka Glen Thompson Ticket Scammer Photo' blog post. Suffice it to say that Wade Thompson seems to have "set up business" in Toronto as it were and has been busy scamming people in Toronto since being released from jail in the Yukon. This post is just to provide a new comment thread for 2013 since it seems that the comment thread for the aforementioned post is full. I have been receiving notifications of recent comments submitted to that thread, but the comments are not actually appearing in it and seem to be disappearing into thin cyberspace, so I will be directing people to this new comment thread for any new comments about Wade Thompson's scamming activities in 2013.

I will post another new blog post if there is a significant new development such as if Wade Thompson relocates to another city or if he is once again arrested and charged for his fraudulent sales of non-existent tickets. This is one ticket "scalper" that you really do not want to get "scalped" by, if you catch my drift. . . My advice is to notify the police immediately if Wade Glen Thompson offers to sell you tickets as it is almost certain that he will attempt to take your money without providing the promised tickets.

  2. It looks to me like there has been one same poster obsessively making most of the derogatory comments on this blog. There doesn't seem much of anything credible in all these comments, they just seem vindictive. And the blog owner goes along with all of that person's venom, it supports his own agenda. Neither of you seem to know what you're talking about.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Actually the above comments seem to be made by someone in Toronto who has recently been scammed by Wade Thompson. While there have been one or more posters who have been somewhat repetative in their comments there are MANY other people who have commented on this blog about being scammed by Wade Thompson. The whole reason I started this new comment thread for 2013 was because well over 200 comments had been made on the blog post titled - 'Wade Thompson aka Glen Thompson Ticket Scammer Photo'.

I really don't get where you come up with the idea that I don't know what I am talking about when this blog arises out of direct personal experience of Wade Thompson and is also based on credible news media reports about his scamming activities.

    ReplyDelete
  4. It appears to me that the majority of the 200 or so comments were made by the same poster. I read nothing to convince me that those recent comments were not made by her as well.

I have no doubt that you have been the victim of Thompson's criminal activity in the past, as has the woman who posts all the time. I don't find credible anything that pertains to the present time.

    ReplyDelete
  5. So tell us all about "the present time" then. . .

Quite frankly your own comments here are questionably credible, but I will be happy to read what you have to say about the "present time" and then decide just how credible, or not. . . your story is. AFA*I*AC I have very little reason to doubt the most recent comments about Wade's scamming activities and I have good reason to believe that they were posted by people who have been scammed by Wade quite recently.

  6. I was scammed by Wade a few years ago and noticed outside Dundas Station (in Toronto) on Monday of this week carrying a briefcase. He then entered a streetcar. Not sure what he's up to these days...

  7. Wade is definitely up to his old tricks and currently owes several thousand dollars to a number of people I know in Toronto. I was able to retrieve my funds after hounding him for almost two months, making it clear I was aware of his criminal past, but the others have not been so successful. In fact, today I received an email from another person who has also been ripped off and is trying to see if others have had the same problems. I will be speaking to this person this evening. I have corresponded with Robin Edgar in the past and this blog is absolutely legit. In fact, I used much of the information gleaned from the comments and postings here against him to scare him into returning my funds. I suspect the comments posted here questioning the legitimacy are from Wade himself, as he is aware of the blog. He is indeed doing business in Toronto and does indeed hang around the Bloor-Yonge area. I was able to obtain his home address which I will not post here. He does provide tickets to some people, but hasn't to others and after many promises, has still not returned their funds well after the event dates have passed. I am hoping he will finally be charged with fraud (once again) but this time in Toronto. I spoke to the RCMP in Toronto to question why he has not been charged in other jurisdictions. Their response was that it would be too costly to have him arrested and flown back to the jurisdiction where the fraud took place, since the amounts are not large enough to justify the expense. I assume Wade is aware of this and counts on it to continue his fraudulent ways. Too bad for the many victims!

  8. I am telling you ladies and gentlemen Wade Thompson will be back in jail soon that's where he deserves to be for a very long time even though id rather him be in there forever. This is how much I hate him and disgusted by him. He is so rude and disrespectful and a huge scammer I havnt got my tickets or money back yet and trust me when I get my money back he will hear a piece of my mind. And yes these comments on top that are defensive to Wade it's probably Wade himself. He should stay in jail forever

  9. I work at a pub in the Roncy area and he tried to sell me tix as well. He didn't provide any but I managed to get my money back, very lucky considering some of these other posts. However, a fellow employee is waiting on tickets as well and is in for a substantial amount of money. Apparently he's been working people from other pubs/restaurants as well and succeeded in fucking them over, in his own neighborhood!! 3 people came into my pub last night looking for him because he screwed them over for last nights leaf tix. That is his address above because I've seen him come out of that door. He's either going to get busted or busted up. Too many people in the Roncesvalles area know his bullshit. scam already. What a scumbag, his time is running out.

  10. Thanks for the update about Wade Thompson's scamming activities in the Toronto area. I hope for his sake that he gets busted before getting "busted up" by angry people he has scammed. I do not condone using physical violence against Wade to punish him for his scamming, but the reality of the situation is such that one day he may well be beaten up, or worse, by some of those people he has scammed if the police fail to deal with him. Maybe the Toronto police, or possibly even the RCMP, can be persuaded to arrest Wade for his own protection. Since his address is known, I would encourage any and all people who have been scammed by Wade Thompson to file policd reports with the police station that has jurisdiction over his neighborhood and demand that the police take action on their complaints.

  11. I saw this clown in Vancouver today. He was at the Pacific Centre Mall right in the middle of downtown.

  12. I would not be surprised if Wade has "skipped town" considering the amount of "heat" he generated in Toronto. Please keep us posted if you see him again.

Torontonians should still chime in if they see Wade in the Toronto area or if they can confirm that he has not been seen for a while.

Maybe I should start a new blog post dedicated to reports of Wade's whereabouts titled 'Where Is Wade Thompson Scamming Now?'

  14. I was scammed by this piece of shit in Winnipeg back in 2006 for $500. I contstantly called him to deliver the tickets but he never did. I finally tracked him down at an Earls restuarant. He had the balls to get some cook to go to the bank and withdrawl the money for me. Unfortunately he scammed my brother-in-law for $15,000 for an Elton John show in Kelowna that he was selling to a bunch of business guys and doctors. No tickets delivered of course were delivered. But my brother-in-law flew into Winnipeg and we found him outside the concert hall. He made him empty his pocketes and and take his shoes and socks off. he only collected $800. Wade is a major coke head and if I see him again he'll be visiting a dentist of his choice.

  18. Wade Thompson is and will always be a slimy little weasel looking to rip anyone he possibly can off. I personally have a history with him going back to before the Vancouver olympics and tried on at least 3 separate occassions to have him arrested by VPD. Even talked to some under cover cops to try and set something up. But on each occassion it was the same story, you need hard copy proof of the scam. "It is no crime to give someone cash and not get any tickets in return". So my advice to anyone trying to have him put behind bars is to make sure he gives you signed documents or invoices proving the transaction. This little scumbag only ripped me of for around $100 and ended up taking me to the Downtown eastside to some building where he was to pick up the tickets, gave me a couple of calls and then never returned to the taxi. I then realized what he was and where my money went when i saw a couple of crackwhores exit the building. Anyone who speaks kindly of him and defends him on these posts really do not know him or are infact Wade himself posting them. This guy has been scamming people for years and is certainly not going to stop soon. Wade is a Sociopath and needs to spend considerable time in a mental hospital. Good luck to all you Vancouverites and the rest of Canada. I did my best to stop him through non violent means. Hopefully someone is more successful in future. I no longer live in Canada and so don't have to see that hideous face of his again. Like the other posts state he can be found at "work" along Granville street between HI Hostelling International and Pacific Centre. So be carefull folks.

  19. Thanks for your comment. It aligns very well with my own experience and assessment of Wade Thompson, right up to the fact the he only managed to scam me out of just over $100, and only because I chose to risk that loss as part of my amateur "detective" work. I had already twigged to the fact that he was almost certainly a scammer prior to taking the moderate risk of seeing how far I could trust him with about 100 of my dollars. He proved me right of course. AFA*I*AC It was worth the moderate cost, if only for the entertainment value of the whole exercise. . . :-)

  20. What exactly is the 'scam'? How does it work?

Who are these people giving away money to some stranger without getting a ticket back immediately in return?

    1. The scam occurres only by an unlucky chance meeting with this scumbag. Usually people will come accross him in a very public place like a shopping mall, backpacker hostel or the corner of a street in the middle of downtown. Basically any place that is easy to meet people and to strike up a conversation. He IS a Sociopath who are very manipulative and uncaring people and will leach onto anyone who he thinks maybe after a good ticket deal to a sporting event or concert. He pretends to be a ticket broker and is very good at telling you what you want to hear and is quite convincing when doing it. Once he developes a good relation with you and earns enough trust for you to hand over some money he will tell you that it might take a couple of days to obtain the tickets from his sources and gives you his current cellphone number. It is hard to knock back a good deal afterall and he is very knowledgeable of current concert tours and upcoming sporting events.
Once you have handed over your money and received his phone number he will find a way to leave quickly by receiving a so called "phonecall" from another client needing to meet him for tickets and then departs. You will only ever see him again by another chance encounter.
If you call his number he does not usually answer it so you can leave a message, unless his message service is of course already full of pissed of peoples complaints/threats. He will probably call you back with some strange story about something crazy that happened to him that day and give you a suspicious excuse before reassuring that you will get the tickets soon. On one occassion he even came to my workplace and talked to a couple of my work colleagues and got them to pass on a message. I of course already knew he was playing games with me but went along with it in hopes of an opportunity of getting him arrested. My advice to anyone and everyone is to never hand over cash to someone you don't know no matter how convincing they are. Wade I know you read these posts and no doubt get a kick out of all these storys. You are probably even the person asking these questions of how the scam works. Most of the people posting on this site are victims of your scam, therefore know your name and how you scam. You are a miserable and sorry excuse for a human being and one day it will come back on you hard. I hope all the people googling his name to find out if he is legit reads all the story's and keep their money firmly in their pockets. This guy will never live a real life and will continue to live in his bizarre perception of reality. On a personal note I must admit that my dealings with Wade has opened my eyes to the corrupt world we live in. I did enjoy trying to get him arrested after I was scammed. Other people have different ideas of how they want to deal with him. I say good luck to them and to be careful. This guy is not worth spending time behind bars for. I do find it fascinating how there are people on this planet that can manage to go through life the way Wade has and actually survive knowing that there are so many people out there wanting their blood.
Thankyou Robin Edgar for creating this blog, keep it going, it is a good warning to all the potential victims out there.

  21. Wade's current line of defence against this website is that the commenters on here are a bunch of people:

    a) out to tarnish his good name because of some incident that occurred long ago, before he turned his life around.

b)people overreacting after buying tickets and encountering this site. They are in the middle of a transaction with Wade, see this site and freak out thinking FRAUD! before he's had a chance to complete the sale.

He says that he's on the straight, trying to earn an honest living. It's a bit of a tricky argument because you don't have access to real people with just these anonymous comments. It could be 1 slanderous person commenting or a whole bunch of real victims. He may very well actually be a reformed man, with a troubled past.

A while back I was scammed trying to rent an apartment in NYC. The victims got together and made an online spreadsheet that had their name and contact email, along with $ amount lost, date and location. Would anybody be interested in doing that? There would be 1 link that would get updated as people report. It would give a more accurate representation of the level of crime and if it is indeed continuing. It would also be good ammunition to give to local authorities. Or, perhaps it will show that Wade is on the straight, as he claims. I would like to know the truth either way.

If he is on the straight, perhaps Robin would consider retiring this site, as I'm sure it's a hinderance to Wade getting proper employment, and getting off the whole ticket selling thing.

    Any thoughts?

  22. I am quite aware of "Wade's current line of defence" as you put it Aren, and have absolutely no reason to believe that it is a valid one. . . I have little doubt that Wade Thompson aka Glen Thompson is still busy scamming people by pretending to be a "legitimate" "ticket broker." The recent comments from people claiming to have been scammed by Wade in Toronto, and now Vancouver, appear to be legit. I will not be retiring this blog at any time, because it represents a shameful part of Wade Thompson's personal history even if he has actually changed his larcenous ways, something I have little reaon to believe in any case.

In light of Wade's history of scamming people by pretending to be a "ticket broker" my advice to Wade is get a haircut and get a *real* job, your fraudulent "ticket brokering" days are over AFA*I*AC. . .

  23. The idea that Wade is selling tickets legitimately is ludicrous. Why in his right mind would he do this? Surely it would be a good idea to get into another line of business... Labour... a different scam.... anything, just not the one thing he's done terribly for years. It boggles the mind.

But Robin, without something more concrete, with specifics, Wade is able to continue using this line of defence:

'Robin has a vendetta against me. Along with 2 other people, they are intent on ruining my life.'

He is able to convince some people of this and it enables him to continue.

    1. Aren have you ever met Wade in person and handed over money for tickets?
It does not sound like it because if you had then you would not be so defensive of him. How well do you know him? If you would like to see for yourself what he is like then you need to experience the wade phenomonon first hand.
He is a good talker so ask him many questions and observe his behavior, it's kind of like a weird comedy sketch. People with his kind of mental stability unless they seek proper psychiatric help will never get better and change his ways. He may put on the perception of a changed and reformed man but it is all just an pathetic act and a way of pulling wool over peoples eyes. The guy definitely has a way of working a crowd and getting people to like and trust him but he always has that presence of something not quite being right with him. I have no doubt this blog will continue for along time and will probably end with a final post saying R.I.H Wade

    3. Thankyou, be careful and good luck. I'm not sure where you are located but if you are in Vancouver and speak with VPD about Wade Thompson ticket scammer most of them will be fully aware of him and his activities. I have called them on him a few times when dealing with him and they have a long file on him from multiple peoples complaints, but the thing you really need for them to prosecute is hard copy documet evidence through emails, recipts, invoices, contracts etc, from him. Wade knows this and thats why mostly takes cash and gets away with it. He was over confident a few years ago and went to jail for it so is probably more cautious now in his dealings now. You have met him a few times which means he will be getting to know you better and will eventually offer you a good ticket deal. It is up to you where to go from there. I lived and worked in the middle of downtown and so of course came accross him a few times and thats how it started. Remember to ask him lots of questions, even ones you have already asked on previous occassions and see how consistent his answers are. All the best.

I suppose the countdown is on.

    1. Do you have documents or any evidence of the transaction that can be used for possible prosecution? If not and only cash was handed over than don't hold your breath as you can kiss your money goodbye. Hope you did not give him too much money. What are the details of your transaction?

      Delete
    2. Of course legitimate transactions take place. That is how he greases the skids for the bigger play. Chances are if you are connected to someone that he did get tickets for, you will now be the one who gets scammed along with the many others connected back to the grease. You will not get your tix unless you are his next "scout."

Be patient, give what you can to police or RCMP. He will slip up at some point, hopefully more people file reports to.

  41. I just confirmed with a lawyer that more than one party can now jointly combine amounts of fraud by the same individual.
Canadian Criminal Code Sentencing for Fraud over $5k
    Aggravating factors for fraud include:
    - breach of trust
    - magnitude or size of the fraud
    - degree of sophistication, planning and deception
    - number of dishonest transactions undertaken in the offence
    - Duration of the dishonesty
    - number of victims
    - vulnerability of the victims
    - the impact of the fraud upon the victims
nature and extent of the loss efforts to conceal the fraud, including forging of documents
    -personal benefit
    - the number of people involved and the role of the offender
    - greed as sole motivator
    - termination of scheme by arrest or voluntarily
    - prior record

The fact that he was sentenced to 9 months already for this, my lawyer is telling me 2 or more years is likely now. I am going for it folks!!

It appears Anonymous really does not know why they were there. Maybe I can shed some light, maybe they wanted to verify 110% that this individual paid for tickets that never materialized. Why, you ask? So when they bend the law and bust balls they will have enough to beg for forgiveness later if they have to. Ducks in a line, utok v liniyu. Urban legend is that the Russian Mafia will cut your balls off for stealing a dollar from them. Why,you ask would someone from the Russian Mafia buy tickets from Wade Thompson? Because Russian women do not fucking LISTEN! Fucking cunts! I have a great title for your book (you are interested in writing, No?): The Ticket Man Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest.

  48. Wade Thompson CRA SNITCH LINE

I will have a file number set up for the Canada Revenue Agency Informant Leads Line (better know as the "snitch line") with Wade's information attached to it ready to go on July 12th. If he does not make good on his word I will be posting the information across key websites including this blog so people can call the toll free number and give their transaction information with respect to dealing in cash with Wade and also not paying the appropriate HST portion. It is completely anonymous. My instinct tells me he has not filed an accurate tax return. He has screwed several people out of tens of thousands of dollars so I am sure he is also screwing the government. I wanted to get this ball rolling before he gets in front of a judge again for ticket fraud. He will get at least a 5 year or more sentence when everything is stacked against him.

  66. Looking at the data from eservice.ag.gov.bc.ca/cso.
On Aug 31st 2007, Wade was convicted of 28 'Criminal' charges between the time period of Nov. 2002 to Jun. 2006:
    Charges:
    1xBreach of Probation Order
1xFailing to appear on recognizance or undertaking
    11xFraud
    2xFraudulently obtaining food/bev./accommodation
    2xFraud over $5000
    7xFraud under $5000
3xUnauthorized use of credit card data
    1xUsing forged document
The above list does not include the Richmond, BC 2013 charges of 1xFraud $5000 or under and 1xTheft $5000 or under (because there is an APW 'APlication for Warrant' for these charges = he has not been convicted).
    Location:
12 of the charges were in Calgary (files:189772-189780)
10 in Fort McMurray (file: 189781)
    5 in Vancouver (file: 168549)
    1 in Toronto (file: 184221).
The site does note state what the sentence/s was, only a 'G' (for Guilty) and does not mention any charges in Whitehorse.

  71. File Number 58707 (Richmond)
26-Sep-2013: 1st appearance - Released (my guess is bail was posted)
    Nov 5th: Obtained councel
Nov 19th: Case was 'Adjourned by the prosecution' (but APW is under the reason column), court date revised to Nov. 26th.
Nov 26th: Nothing is stated (but APW is still under the reason column).
I could be reading this wrong, but it seems (based on the continuance APW, and the 'N' (No) under the 'In Custody' section) that the case was adjourned due to unavailability of Wade. Somebody who is located close should make their way there on Nov. 26 to see if he shows/is caught (and if he is, let us know how it turns out).

  76. So it seems Wade is not in Vancouver after all. He has had a bench warrant issued in Richmond. Here is the best definition I could find of what exactly a bench warrant is.

A bench warrant is an order issued by a judge for the arrest or apprehension of an individual who has committed some contempt against the courts. When a person fails to appear in court as required, the judge may issue a bench warrant authorizing his/her arrest. A bench warrant orders the police to find the offender, arrest them, and bring them before the issuing judge to answer the charge of contempt.
A bench warrant is issued for the sole purpose of apprehending an individual who has violated an order or requirement of the court. In this way, a bench warrant is different from an arrest warrant. Both of which are ordered by a judge and both authorize the arrest of an individual for legal violations. Arrest warrants, however, are issued for the arrest of a person suspected of committing a crime, whereas a bench warrant is issued for violations of court obligations.
When a judge issues a bench warrant, s/he will state the reasons it is being issued. The bench warrant should be presented to the individual upon arrest. Before issuing a bench warrant, a judge will often verify that the individual was, in fact, served with a written notice to appear before the court or comply with some other court request. The judge must have sufficient and appropriate cause for issuing the bench warrant.
When a person is arrested on a bench warrant, they are allowed the same rights as any arrested person. Violations of these rights may render a bench warrant or its consequences unlawful or inadmissible in a court. In many cases, a person who is arrested on a bench warrant will be brought before the issuing judge as soon as possible. When a judge issues a bench warrant, they will specify the conditions of an individual’s release and the bail amount, should the judge be unavailable at the time of the bench warrant arrest.
A bench warrant can be issued in both civil and criminal cases. Failure to pay child support, as indicated by a previous court ruling, is a common type of civil case where a bench warrant may be issued. If the individual fails to pay, they are in contempt of court, and a bench warrant can be issued for their arrest. In some civil cases, failure to appear before the court as ordered may result in a default judgment (not often in the defendant’s favor) as opposed to a bench warrant.
In criminal cases where a defendant fails to appear before the court as required, the prosecution may request that an arrest warrant be issued rather than a bench warrant. A bench warrant may also be ordered when a defendant fails to pay fines, or comply with bail conditions, probation requirements, community service, educational programs, or when the defendant commits a crime while on release pending the original trial.
In addition to a civil or criminal defendant, jurors and witnesses can also be named in a bench warrant for violations of their court obligations. If you would like to learn more about bench warrant, please contact us to speak with a qualified and experienced criminal defense attorney who can protect and maximize your legal interests.

  90. Wade Thompson never did scam me per se. His main objective in befriending individuals is for a) provide housing and b) facilitating the ability to blend in for the sole purpose of manipulating unsuspecting individuals and corporations by having said person accompanying him to "business meetings". This is intrinsic to his success as a con man. He is a cocaine addict, has lived on the run since the age of 17, is a desperate, violent and dangerous accomplice.
From my personal experience with this retched rogue I want to warn you. He can quickly distinguish the guarded vs the vulnerable. In my case I filed a "complaint" with the local authorities for protection. A little time after a knife wielding, out of his scull on crack, thug pushes himself into my residence and began stabbing and slashing at my body with a final attempt at my jugular but missed. I screamed, he ran...after 160 stitches and much blood loss I survived.
This is what he is capable of–no price can be put on a life :(

  96. Unfortunately, yes. This is my 3rd encounter with him at my current job. Dealt with him twice at my previous job, which is where I first learned of his 'work' after they had to issue a memo nationwide warning employees & managers about his tactics & effectively banning him from all locations across Canada for fraud & assorted scams.

While talking to a police officer regarding a separate incident at work today, I mentioned Wade's reappearance. He said "Hmm, sounds familiar. Can you right write his name down & give me a description?"

I pulled out my phone & showed him this blog. He wrote down Wade's name & said he's real interested in following up on Wade, I.D.'ing him, & possibly issuing a trespass notice at the very least. He also said if I ever see Wade again anywhere anytime, call the police & they'll pick him up for questioning since he's a career criminal & probably ripping off someone wherever he is.

I should've done that yesterday but I was just focusing on getting him out of the store asap because I was fighting the urge to introduce his face to a curb. & He's not worth losing my job over, he's just worthless.

Wade looked the same as the photo posted on this blog. Fairly clean cut in casual semi business style clothing. Had a little bit of stubble like he hadn't shaved for a few days.

This was the 1st time he got angry at me for calling him out, previous times he constantly denied everything while smiling like a sleazy politician. I'm glad I got under his skin a little while I remained calm & plainly explained why he wasn't welcome & gave a brief 'greatest hits' of his scams, in full view of customers & coworkers, it was awesome.

Also, if I ever see that turd again, I'm totally gonna film or photograph him & post it everywhere online.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Thanks for that info. I would definitely encourage you, or anyone else who encounters Wade, to totally film or photograph him & post it online when the opportunity arises. My only caveat is that I recently learned from a commenter on this blog that Wade can get quite violent. So keep that in mind.

  98. Wow!
Robin, can you believe this blog is 7 years old? Since then, Wade has went to a Yukon jail for Fraud in 2010 and presently has a Bench Warrant for not turning-up last year to hear his conviction for 2x Fraud $5k(-) & 1x Fraud $5k(+) (= more jail if he's caught in BC).
I wonder how much money you have saved people with this blog - I'm going to guess tens of thousands (or more) that was stopped from going directly into Wade's nose...err, pocket.
All those people supporting him (and commenting here) over the last 7 years saying he's changed, that he's a good man now... I wonder what happened to them.
There has not been much updates over the last year, so I just wanted to say (incase you were thinking of removing this blog) 'Thanks'.
I'm sure this blog has been a serious thorn in his side, making it harder and harder to ply his 'trade'. Maybe this lack of updates/complaints is a sign that fewer and fewer people are getting fooled by his antics.
It's actually (kinda) sad to think that there's nowhere for him to go (besides more crime) and that the next update might be a link to his obituary. Hopefully the we can start getting more updates of his location across Canada.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Its kind of sad that when someone gives up their choice of behavior in life that all they can do is make up stories to create drama. Bottom line there are NO outstanding warrants for this individual anywhere in all the spots he known to have frequented. Yes folks he addressed all of them in this last year. Ontario-30 days (weekends)charges 13 yrs old , Manitoba-110 days, released after 65,11 counts, and that leaves the toughest juristiction in the country Calgary , where even after being plastered all over the news a scant 7-8 years ago , and after submitting a joint submission with the Crowns support for a sentance of two years lees a day -House Arrest, the judge overuled it . Stating that "Mr.Thompson your changes are self motivated , the results self fufilling, you have proven to all of your many supporters , including law enforcement( who wrote more than a half dozen letters from agencies accross Canada), that you have indeed changed for the better. That in fact you have come 180 degrees and I see NO need for you to be supervised in the community, Mr Thompson you are little or NO threat to re-offend, in short sir I am over ruling the joint submission and you are free to go (26 counts), your sentance will be one day in jail. Good luck."

Yes folks , Crown originally wanted 2 years jail, he outlasted them and in turn did himself and our countries various communities a service long overdue, he grew up, as well he paid all outstanding fundsback in full at the time of sentancing (Jan 27th/2016). Since then he has just dealt with working thru the overwhelming enormity of his success. So cut the bullshit Robin , he deserves a shot , this is all verifiable , you have been grossly irresponsible in your mgt of this site. Not that you have the site rather that, in that you let anyone , post anything , without any vetting , due dilligence or accountability. At the end of the day its the third quater , your way behind. Im sure wade will keep you in the game but he wont throw it for you . I'd get real attention on this issue sooner than later, because i can garauntee you he's coming. He's coming for you face to face. oh and in closing Wade has NEVER laid a hand on anyone , nor stabbed anyone . You are in pretty deep shit, I'd get a shovel.

    1. May I reasonably assume that you mean that Wade Thompson was attempting to return an item or items that had been stolen from your store in Willowbrook Mall in the hope of getting a cash refund for them?

  103. I found this comment in my email in-box this morning, but for some reason it did not get posted to the thread it was posted to:

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "Wade Thompson aka Glen Thompson Ticket Scammer Pho...":

The moral he was able to maintain? Your kidding me! I was inside with this snake, he is lucky to have made it outta WCC. He ratted on everyone even inside. And those letters from corrections staff have all been recinded. Call them. He scammed the minute he got out. He was smoking crack not days after release. He disappeared with out a trace. The commentor im replying to has got to be Wade cause anyone that knew him during yukon time and after knows what im saying is fact.

    1. Well *that* sounds promising. Hopefully the police will ensure that Wade faces accountability for his "less than honest" ways. . .

I believe the link is saying that he won't have to start his 14 days of jail until March 21st. Something is better than nothing.

    1. Reading the link deeper, the probation he was on was for a 'Resisting an Officer' conviction in January 2017.
